Volunteer activity: intercultural meetings and truancy meetings with the parents and kids

'Let's Meet and Chat' on Fridays at Tsukuba University (2019-2020)

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, I used to offer intercultural exchange weekly event called 'Let's meet and chat' with other lecturers on Fridays at Tsukuba university. After the pandemic, we had to stop the event to prevent the participants from the infection. But I am still looking for such opportunity which I can offer intercultural exchange in my locale. I used to mainly teach international students from diverse backgrounds at Tsukuba university Global 30 program which was a five-year contract.

'Dandelion Fluff-Experimental Learning Practices with Truancy Children and the Parents' (2023-Current)

This gathering happens every Fridays for truancy children and their parents to experience various activities such as cooking, day trips, and yoga. We plan and experiment new activities together which can offer us sensational feelings and discoveries to truly understand and appreciate the meaning of our lives, learnings and teachings, and happiness surrounding us. Such decisions are made democratically so that all participants including children can equally engage in our decision-making processes and the activities throughout.
