As a member of Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka I directly aided in waterside and landside defense of the base, demonstrating to be a vital part of security operations of the largest overseas installation I directly performed 12 antiterrorism measures providing deterrence and safety for 26,000 personnel living and working in Yokosuka. I directly managed 6 harbor security vessels valued at $600,000 by conducting and scheduling maintenance. By taking this I was able to maintain and preserve the condition of the vessel saving over $50,000 in fees. During my off duty time I helped organize and took place in procuring and packing 30 gift bags for the local orphanage in Yokosuka during the holiday season.
