· Led several marketing and advertising campaigns for key clients in the Automotive Industry: brand strategy, new product introduction strategy, sales promotion, retail/dealer marketing, digital marketing, and event.
1 Event & Marketing:
· From 2008 to 2012, with Subaru as primary client, as project leader in managing SUBARU Driving Experience for Subaru owners and the media to experience the ease of driving SUBARU vehicles. I worked with automotive journalists and professional drivers to produce the test drive program and event program, and ultimately managed the overall event project and budget. Based on his experience and achievements, I planned and managed a training event for Subaru's dealership sales staff nationwide.
· From 2013 to 2017, in charge of new model introduction strategies. As project director for creative production, PR, communication, media planning, nationwide new car launch event, and digital marketing. Also implement new car and new technology training for dealer sales, and pre-order dealer support event.
Achievement: In 2013, with annual advertising budget of 2.5 billion yen, our project was to launch new models in Japanese market. project achieved 140% of client's 2014 yearly sales business plan for this model, contributing to significant increase in sales volume (30,258 units).
2 Brand Strategy:
· Responsible for defining brands for domestic clients and planning and researching of marketing strategies aimed at customer experience. Specifically, from the perspective of CRM, focused on the fact that brand value form through a product and a customer's experience of using it and planned an owner-conscious branding strategy by surveying owners to clarify the use value of the product. I developed a brand image by integrating an actual customer experience and lifestyle transformation obtained through research with the automobile manufacturer's corporate philosophy and development concept.
· As one of a result, I successfully acquired the project for the "I am a Subarists" brand campaign. The concept was unveiled at the 60th Tokyo Motor Show in 2013 and contributed to building the brand through a campaign introducing owners who share their lives with car.
3 PR and sales promotions:
· Spearheaded advertising campaigns for various Subaru models since 2009 and was in charge of the planning and implementation of a series of large-scale campaigns, including introduction strategy, creative production, media buying, digital measures, new car launches, media test drives, tie-ups with artists and various media, and PR campaigns through motorsports activities, as well as budget management for the entire campaigns.
· In addition to Subaru, succeeded in leading several events in Japan for Ferrari, Lamborghini, and dealer training for Mercedes-Benz.
4 Digital Marketing:
· Involved in many digital marketing-related tasks to blend offline and digital such as building client websites, optimizing ads, and delivering live content. Also, I engaged in the launch of the client's YouTube Channel, managing content development while focusing on increasing the number of subscribers to the channel, improving the linkage with other social networking sites, and attracting more people to the company's website.
· Direction and Progress Management of Creatives
· Managed the production of more than 30 TV commercials for Subaru in Japan and produced more than 50 videos for global products. Worked on several media tie-ups and various creative digital optimizations.
