Zhaoqi Qi

I began my academic journey in China, majoring in Materials Science at Shandong University. Later, I developed a strong interest in the humanities while living in Japan.

To explore this interest, I enrolled in a vocational school where I obtained multiple professional certifications related to the tourism industry. After graduation, I joined Kanazawa Seal Co., Ltd. as a salesperson and worked there for two years to gain firsthand experience in the Japanese business environment. During this time, through interactions with the local Chinese community, I noticed that many individuals faced similar challenges in adapting to life in Japan.

Motivated to better understand and address these issues, I enrolled in the Graduate School of Kanazawa University, specializing in International Studies, where I focus on the adaptation of international students in Japan. I am expected to receive my Master’s degree in August 2026.
