Volunteer

President in VOICE-Chukyo University, September 2022-August 2023
I was the president of the study abroad student support organization at my college. As the president, I did the following.

・I mainly managed the core team which is composed of 10 people, and the entire organization of over 300 people with the core team members.
・I planned a lot of events in order not only to help study abroad students but also to encourage international exchange within the university.
・I facilitated meetings with the core team and made a comfortable environment for members to speak their opinions.
・I kept in close contact with the international department at the university so we could get detailed information about the study abroad students, get permission to use certain places in the university and manage all members using the system the university has.

President in Gleam-Chukyo University, February 2022-April 2023
I was the president of a student volunteer club that provided support to students during their college life.
As the president, we did the following under my management.

・achieved this by giving unofficial reviews of classes to help students choose their classes based on real evaluation. ・organized a flea market of second-hand textbooks for those who couldn't afford expensive textbooks.
・created an online question box to answer students' questions, worries, and doubts about everything related to our university. As our club consisted of students from various departments, we could respond to specific questions related to classes held for a certain department.

Temporary Officer in JCEC (Japanese Culture Exchange Club)-Kent State University, February 2024-May 2024
I was the temporary officer at the Japanese Culture Exchange Club (JCEC). Even though JCEC is the club that introduces Japanese culture, there was no Japanese among the officers. As the only Japanese officer, I did the following.

・Planned and held events from the perspective of real Japanese, such as calligraphy and Japanese classes.
・Actively participated in the meetings among officers giving opinions on what to do in the club and how we can expand this club.
