  • Build and develop communication with international JSCE’s Agreement of Cooperation societies, and civil engineering related organizations in public and private sectors
  • Plan and implement educational programs in cooperation with international peers and counterparts
  • Assist the IAC members to implement their activity plans
  • Manage grant projects in collaboration with the JSCE’s designated bank
  • Write and edit brochures, event flyers, presentation materials documents, journals and newsletters in English and Japanese
  • Attend the JSCE Presidents on their travel overseas and meetings with international counterparts
  • Arrange meeting and field trips for international guests
  • Provide assistance and ideas for developing civil engineering qualification systems targeting international civil engineers and students in Japan
  • Operate and support the International Civil Engineer Group, which I set up in 2018 to network international civil engineers and students in Japan and work together to solve their challenges and issues
  • Organize a celebrating meeting for the JSCE Award recipients and interview them to be published online
  • Develop JSCE Civil Engineer Qualification System targeting international civil engineers assisting the Section in charge of that system
  • Planned and implemented the JSCE President Project in 2022- dialogues and interviews with leading civil engineers and researchers and released online, setting-up new committees
  • Played a major coordinator of a JSCE-hosting international conference of approx. 750 attendees from 2017 to 2019 and of JSCE 100th Anniversary Conference in 2014
