I aspire to make a global impact through the power of finance. I am eager to leverage diversity and collaborate with international team members to achieve collective goals. With a strong foundation in analytical and problem-solving skills, linguistic proficiency, adaptability to various environments, and leadership abilities, I aim to fully utilize these competencies in my professional endeavors.
In my seminar on Political Economy and International Finance, I analyze IMF financial reports and ESG metrics, focusing on economic growth, inflation, employment, fiscal health, and policy recommendations. I evaluate sustainable development and social responsibility through indicators like carbon emissions and social inequality. This rigorous analysis enhances my understanding of economic trends and informs investment decisions. Regular discussions with peers broaden my perspective, deepening my economic insights.
One of the highlights was joining the Waseda "Suga Ski Club".
As a co-captain, I led our team to victory in a national championship, overcoming initial challenges such as diverse skill levels and limited team cohesion. To address this, I implemented a structured training plan focusing on foundational skills and intensive off-season physical training, complemented by 30 hours of weekly self-practice.
Prioritizing team synergy, we conducted post-practice video analysis sessions for collective feedback, fostering a unified approach and substantially improving our overall performance. I also provided individual guidance to less experienced members, strengthening team unity.
This experience highlighted the importance of strategic leadership, individual skill development, and collaborative effort in achieving team success.
At a tutoring institution for Chinese students, I focused on enhancing students' interview success rates. After identifying language barriers in assessment tests, I gathered volunteer teachers to develop an intensive training course. We first bolstered language training, covering everyday conversations, technical terms, and interview-specific phrases.
In mock interviews, we utilized the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle for continuous refinement. To address confusion from varied feedback by interviewers, we standardized their guidance, focusing on eye contact and delivery methods. Regular improvement meetings were held to optimize the process.
These initiatives significantly increased student interview pass rates, leading to satisfactory offers for many.
