Extensive experience abroad. Spent 34 years out of 66 outside Japan. Lived in the USA, Germany, Singapore and Begium. Have visited 88 countries on business and other occasions.

Strong interest in history and geography, and cultural events such as classical concerts and the opera. During postings overseas, planned and led colleagues and young friends on different trips, including their first opera experience in several venues (Venice, Vienna, Barcelona, Metz among others), or to cheese producing areas (French and Swiss Jura for Mont d'or and Tete de Moine). Also let participation trips to half marathons and marathons (Nuits-St.Georges 10K, Alsace wine half marathon, Marathon du Medoc)

Cycling enthusiast biking in Belgium and in the European alps, now in Japan.

Participated in local climbing challenges to earn membership in the "Feles du Grand Colombier", "Sixphonees du Mont Brouilly", "Fadas du Puy Mary" and to achieve "Grand Azimute" status in the "Challenge des Fous"

Was nominated as "Ambassador" to Japan for the Sixphonees du Mont Brouily (CT Formidable).
