(1) Data Analysis and Data Visualization

• Analyzed Mitsubishi’s historical business operations in several African countries within the sustainability and infrastructure sectors.
• Using a data visualization software (Think-cell), prepared a presentation for the Third Japan-Africa Public-Private Economic Forum in December 2024.

(2) Monitoring and Evaluation

• Developed and implemented a comprehensive corporate strategy across Africa in food, sustainability, mineral, and automobile industries, creating tailored master plans and missions for each country.
• Monitored and evaluated nearly 70 business activities across the continent and provided quarterly progress reports to the head office.

• Produced internal reports and risk assessments based on desk research, media searches and data gathered from public and UN sources.
• Analyzed trends in food, sustainability, minerals, and mobility and produced internal reports. In FY2024, I have written 10 reports. These reports are circulated internally to the head office and branches to guide investment decisions.

(4) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Activities

• Completed two CSR related activities: a scholarship program for university students and funding for a local NGO in South Africa, which focuses on improving nutrition and providing early learning for children in under-served communities in South Africa.

• Ignited sustainable development initiatives in the company by organizing an internal business conference in Johannesburg, inviting company executives from Tokyo Headquarters and London (EMEA Headquarters).
• Discussed sustainable-related business activities in Africa and potential plans.

• Analyzed the Return on Investment (approx. 8.9 billion USD net profit) in various countries where Mitsubishi operates, integrating this analysis into the corporate strategy.

• Examined and developed a regional strategy for Europe, Israel, and Palestine by managing and monitoring business activities of 10 branches and overseas subsidiaries.
• Engaged in budget/expense analysis of the HQ office, branches, and overseas subsidiaries.

(3) Investment

• Evaluated startups from a diverse field, including agri-food, mobility, and clean energy, which resulted in investment in sustainability-related startups.

(4) Relationship Management

• Organized more than 40 meetings of the company executives with ambassadors, ministers, and executives from other companies, and compiled relevant information for meetings by researching the business activities of our company in the country, political and economic situations, and future engagement plans.

(5) Establishment of a Branch for Following the Sustainability Trend in the EU

• Ignited sustainable development initiatives in the company by sharing the trend of the European political and economic landscape toward decarbonization and subsidy programs, which potentially led to future business opportunities for Mitsubishi. Accomplished the establishment of a brand-new office in Brussels.
• Executed administrative work to start operation of the brand-new branch in Brussels from scratch.

(1) Support Local Integration by Educational Assistance

• Supported the local integration of refugees and immigrants in Japan by providing Japanese language education to them.
  Provided advice to a refugee student from Afghanistan who was planning to take a postgraduate program in Tokyo.
• Organized events so that refugees and immigrants in Japan could develop their network and made proud of themselves and their cultures by exhibiting their foods and arts.

(1) Support Local Integration

• Organized an event with refugee children for advocacy and supported their preparation.
• Conducted a telephone survey to ask Rohingya refugees about their interest in a pilot project to allow them to work in the manufacturing and plantation sector in Malaysia.

• Mapped engagements with private sector companies and individuals and proposed potential engagement plans.

• Researched refugee-related topics in Malaysia in media coverages and shared the relevant information to office members.
