I had belonged to global business department of Yamada Consulting Group. As an associate consultant, I have engaged in following roles/tasks.
1.Asset Management Advisory
At Yamada Consulting Group, I was primarily involved in asset management advisory services, focusing on introducing overseas investment opportunities, particularly U.S. real estate, to Japanese investors. By doing so, we enabled investors to benefit from income, capital gains, and tax advantages. Additionally, we assisted Japanese developers by presenting overseas real estate development projects, helping them expand internationally in the future.
My responsibilities included acquiring new clients in Japan, presenting investment projects to existing clients, building relationships with overseas partners, evaluating the financial aspects of projects (including detailed cash flow analysis), and preparing project-related documents.
2. International Expansion Consulting / Market Research
Within the asset management advisory team, some clients sought to expand internationally through investment projects. We provided consulting services to these companies, developing international expansion strategies and conducting market research.
My role involved creating strategy plans and supporting materials to assist companies in their global market entry efforts.
