• Feasibility Study of Manufacturing a New Rear Seat for the Suzuki (SOLIO) Car.
• Creating 3D data for seat stamping, as well as injection molding parts, in Catia V5.
• Link analysis of sliding, as well as folding, seats.
• Designing a belt anchor point by maintaining MANKIN clearance and position.
• Designing an armrest with different features on it.
• Designing trim cover and its relation with PAD.

Achievements:

• Working as the main designer for the Next Rear Seat (NRS) for the SUZUKI (SOLIO) model.
• Achieved lowering the Luggage Height of Rear seat.

Job Responsibilities:

• Designing the parts considering their design criteria (cost, appearance, strength, functionality, formability) and making 3D data.
• Design the assembly position by considering fitting tolerances (GD&T).
• Calculate the cost for designed parts, and deal with the maker.
• Set the meeting with the responsible person for other parts, discuss, and decide the designing process.
• Submit the progress report for assigned parts every week in the group meeting.
• Make a 2D drawing of design parts for different events, and release the final drawing for mass production.
• Discuss the factory member for the feasibility of production.

Achievements:

• Working as a Design Engineer for the Honda ACCORD 2018 model for worldwide production.
• Experience in designing parts such as the roof, bumper, fender, fuel lid, cowl top, dashboard, and windshield.
• Experience working as a team for different Honda models, like the Accord, Civic, and Fit.

• Worked as a CAD and CFD engineer at Education and Training Pvt. Ltd. (E&T Nepal).
• Modeling and drafting of the injection molding part of the interior door of the car.
• Modeling and drafting of polyurethane foam (PUF) for the seat of a car.
