Shu Saito's art works are the visualization of combined elements from an archive of his own photographs. He integrates elements from different photographs into a mindscape that includes his own self-portrait. He collects images of objects that highlight loneliness including forgotten and decaying items on the street and vacant alleys. By blending vivid floral images into the psychological world, Saito tries to discover a sense of holistic and organic connection between the world and himself.
