- 2021-04 ~ 2022-11 Smartphone App "Codmon"
- Improved user experience of a smartphone app called Codmon which is designed to alleviate daily communication between kindergartens and their users. Major functions include: sending absent notice, sending journals of child conditions, viewing journals written by nursery teachers in a timeline format, viewing schedules of a kindergarten in a calendar format, and viewing and buying photos of children.
- Major improvements include adding an account delete function to replace a manual account deletion task of our customer support team, providing up to 87 hours of extra time on average each month for the team to work on more important tasks. Implementation for the smartphone app is done by Vue 2 and PHP for backend API. In order to improve maintainability and readability, we implemented our API using some of the major practices from Clean Architecture.
- A big portion of my work includes removing user pain in terms of their in-app experience. Every two weeks, we set our implementation goals by proactively seeking for solutions to some of the biggest concerns we discovered from app store reviews. For example, I removed user pain of having to rewrite their journals when they unintentionally invoke page reload mechanisms. The direct cause for this was a pull-hook component designed to erase and reload information of its current page.

- Implemented and maintained billing function of a web application "Codmon"which is designed to simplify paperwork of kindergarten office.
- In order to become as adaptive as possible and ready to provide the most value to our users, we put development method called "extreme programming" into practice. We work on almost all tasks in pairs, allowing for efficient communication and sharing of knowledge.
- Major work include: adaptation of our system for The Qualified Invoice-Based Method and fixing a bug for a billing mechanism under specified conditions.
- Adaptation of our system for The Qualified Invoice-Based Method involved two major tasks: adding a new tax-calculation method and refactoring billing mechanisms in order to allow for a long term maintainability.
