    Cross-Border Pension Migration:     Spearheaded the migration of cross-border pension payments to Japan's domestic payment system. This initiative delivered annual cost savings of $19M, significantly reducing operational expenses. The project's success led to the extension of this approach for Brazilian pension payments as well.

    Refund Automation Project : Automated the end-to-end process of handling incoming and outgoing fund transfer refunds, which were previously processed manually due to market limitations. The automation mimicked maker-checker controls, dramatically reducing operational risk and eliminating the manual effort of 4 full-time employees, while ensuring faster turnaround for clients, particularly e-commerce businesses managing large volumes of virtual accounts.

    Preventive Payment Controls : Implemented multiple preventive measures to address regulatory and internal audit mandates on high-value payments. Controls included payment threshold limits, multi-level authorization workflows, hard caps, and dual-maker blind re-key validation. These initiatives strengthened operational risk management and improved compliance posture across the bank's payments infrastructure.

    Virtual Accounts Implementation     : Designed and implemented Citibank Japan's most widely adopted and profitable product, supporting corporate clients with scalable virtual account structures. This solution enabled improved reconciliation, operational efficiency, and became a key driver of franchise growth.

    Divestiture of Consumer Banking : Led the complex multi-phase separation of consumer and corporate banking technology systems during Citibank's global restructuring.
