Consulting Architect

Work with Project Managers to create project plans with realistic work stream timelines
Manage technical governance for the end-to-end solutions
Gather use case requirements and create high and low-level enterprise designs while functioning as a resource for “Best Practices” and driving adoption of VMware solutions
Maintain current, high-level technical knowledge of the entire VMware product line and future product direction and expert level knowledge of the core VMware product line and your specialist area
Use your VCP (VMware Certified Professional) and your IT architecture certifications to deliver IT automation and cross-cloud solutions
Assist in the development of our consulting service offerings as well as developing white papers and best practices
Speaking and writing Italian and English fluently

What is the structure and culture of the team like?
The hiring manager is Edoardo D’Angelo, Senior Manager PS Delivery Italy
His experience has been built in years of activities in the IT market, managing successfully teams, both in software development and in infrastructure solutions
He is managing the PS Delivery Italian team for the past 3+ years, doubling the results and creating the field of a high emphatic environment, where the collaboration and fun is always the keys
He strongly believes in the power of Diversity & Inclusion and on the EPIC2 VMware values
The team members are all part of the discussion on assessing the team future and evolutions, always encouraged on contributing to bring improving ideas and solutions, with the highest customer centricity mindset possible

The team is composed by Project Managers, Consulting Architects and Consultants assigned on the two VMware Italian locations, Milan and Rome
The team works flexible hours and location, arranging schedules to fit their needs and taking consideration the customers’ needs together with the personal work-life-balance

Flexible: The location of this role is flexible within Italy (Rome)
Work will be done from an office some days during a week and other days from a non-VMware building
