Clearing & Settlement

• Monitoring and managing day-to-day equity and debt trade confirmation and settlement.
• Processing mutual fund subscriptions, redemptions, switch transactions.
• GSEC deals processing on NDS-OM and settlement.
• Regulatory reporting (NSDL/ SEBI / RBI) - Daily / Monthly / Quarterly.
• Liaison with Depository Participants, Clearing Members, Custodians, clients and Stock Exchange in relation with business (Trade Confirmations, setting up applications, new programs, Compliance reporting)

Audit and Compliance, Other activities

• Maintaining internal checks, controls and handling internal audits.
• Performing checks and controls on processes including static data maintenance, customer position update and pricing information update
• Reconciliations and reporting to internal control units.
• Providing second level client services.
• System UAT and enhancements..

Fixed Income Settlements

• Key team member for the processing of Government & Corporate debt transactions for Foreign & Domestic institutional investors
• Clients include mutual funds, overseas & domestic corporates and foreign portfolio investors
• Investment regulatory due diligence for foreign portfolio investors investing in the Fixed Income market
• Liaising with market intermediaries like stock exchanges (NSE & BSE), Clearing Corporation of India, NSDL and other parties like client servicing managers for smooth processing of trades
• Impact analysis for complex regulatory market changes introduced by RBI & SEBI
• Active Participation in System Automation projects, UAT testing of new systems & preparation of Business requirements (BRDs).

• Involved in the activities of reconciliation of income, expenses and capstock ledger in accounting system of State Street and maintenance of the system for proper NAV calculation
• Prepared daily reports, month-end reports, and client specific report, researched and resolve income and expense related discrepancies while keeping fund groups informed of any issues.

• Involved in activities related to Demat and Remat preparation of daily and monthly reports and preparing and sending statements of transaction to the clients
• Identification of any exceptions, carry out investigations and allocation to the business areas for clearance.
