Summary
The area of stem cell-based research has been broad, and various methods have been applied for their possible therapeutic use. I focused on pulp biological research in my postgraduate years. I have done experiments using human dental pulp stem cells and studied their osteo- and odontogenic differentiation potential in various microenvironmental conditions. I studied the effect of different calcium silicate-based materials on human dental pulp stem cells as part of my Ph.D. thesis. I am very keen on learning about how the pulp stem cells respond to various external stimuli via different signaling pathways. It is always my dream to pursue a career in pulp biology-related research after my Ph.D. graduation.
