(Jun. 2021 – Current): Alternative Investment Department, Infrastructure Investment

• Oversee global infrastructure debt funds (1st and 2nd) of over USD 200m in total whose targeted initiatives are a wide range of infrastructure projects (greenfield and brownfield).
• Lead deal sourcing from global financial institutions, marketing to potential investors, due diligence of targeted projects, documentation of relevant agreements, monitoring of projects in fund portfolio, and reporting to investors.
• Execute debt financing for 8 projects which are comprised of solar farms portfolio (US), onshore wind farm (US), data center (US), battery energy storage system (US), hospitals portfolio (US), LNG plant (Australia), IWPP (UAE), and coal transportation port (Australia).
• Investigate and analyze potential deals including fiber network, hydrogen production plant, offshore wind farm, biomass power plant, waste to energy plant, water pipeline, and so on.
• Lead discussion with core investors about the concept and investment guidelines of the next series (3rd) of infrastructure debt fund.
• Manage a global infrastructure equity fund whose targeted projects are hydrogen-related projects as a service provider which is in charge of ESG analysis and fund management.
• Evaluate ESG factors of global hydrogen-related projects which include production of green hydrogen (Australia), green steel (France), e-SAF (US, Denmark), and transportation of hydrogen (Australia-Japan).

(Jan. 2020 – May. 2021): Investment Division, Project Finance and Equity Investment

• Investigate potential investment opportunities in order to ascertain the feasibility of solar and wind power projects for providing equity.
• Carry out due diligence process on the projects including legal, technical, tax and insurance due diligence for the purpose of executing finance and acquisition.
• Process and implement the project documentation: finance agreements, and other relevant agreements for executing project finance with lenders.
• Formulate presentation materials for investment committees whose members are senior management and equity investors, by analyzing relevant agreements, due diligence reports, financial models, and other applicable materials.
• Execute arrangement of project finance for 2 solar power projects, and work on the process of executing arrangement of project finance for 2 wind power projects, whose total capacity is 95MW and whose total project cost is over USD 220 million.
• Conduct initial analysis of about 20 projects which are in the development stage by simulating profitability on financial models in order to understand the feasibility of the projects.

(Apr. 2019 – Dec. 2019): Real Estate Finance Division, Non-recourse Finance

• Conduct analysis of real estate finance transactions and execute loan financing.

(Apr. 2017 – Mar. 2019): Green Finance Organization, Project Finance (Seconded)

• Carry out due diligence of project finance transactions and execute equity financing
• Formulate presentation materials of project finance transactions for credit committees whose members are outside experts of renewable energy.
• Execute equity financing for 4 projects located in Japan, which are comprised of 2 onshore wind farms, biomass power plant, and hydro power plant in Japan.

(Apr. 2014 – Mar. 2017): Project Finance Division, International Project Finance

• Carry out analysis of project finance transactions and execute loan financing.
• Prepare presentation materials of project finance transactions for credit committees, by analyzing relevant agreements, due diligence reports, financial models, and other applicable materials.
• Execute and monitor financing for 9 projects whose total amount is over USD 400 million, which include offshore wind farm (Holland), solar thermal power plant (UAE), nuclear power plant (France), waste power plant PPP (UK), school PPP (UK), coal power plant (Indonesia), and so on.

(Dec. 2012 – Mar. 2014): Corporate Banking Business Division, Corporate Finance

• Deal with corporate financing deals for over 40 financial institutions.

• Monitor corporate financing transactions for over 50 companies in a wide range of industries.
