I started to cover customers from regional banks and credit unions and foreign securities houses. And later on mega banks, trust banks, Japanese securities houses, foreign secutirites houses and large lifers. So I experienced all types of financial institutions.
By leveraging my experiences and knowledge in Salomon/Citigroup, I have been developing useful sheets/template including excel works to Eikon customers for macro analysis and calculations.
Since 3 year ago, I and other members started to publish 1 page memo analyzing financial and macro data for both internal people and external users and send it to them. It is very appreciated by internal and external readers although it is stopped for migrations.
.There are some achievements as CSM. Eikon Premium 25IDs for SMBC in 2018 making presentations for FX option pricing and swap pricings by using Eikon. And upsell from 40 IDs to 80 IDs of Eikon for UBS WM in Japan in 2019.

From 2001 to 2007 I covered asset management companies and trust banks for pension funds.These customers are index fund investors.
From 2007 to 2014 I covered ALM department of megabanks, tsutbanks, lifers and some pension funds of trurstbanks.
I have covered domestic all the bonds including JGBs, GG, Muni, Corp, RMBS and securitised bonds. I learned YB when RMBS was lauched in Japan. And on the derivative front, I cover IRS, basis swaps and swaptions.
WIth regards to derivatives, I also was involved in documentation of ISDA with Mitsubishi UFJ Trust Bank.

As Salomon Brothers, option business was top priority as cash business was allocated to domestic banks.
I struggled to open accounts of Japanese companies from institutional investors and corporations. Good ones for exapmle, Tokio Marine and Fire Insurance, Mitsui F&M Insurance and Nissan Motor.
In 1999 I also contracted ISDA with Mitsui&Co, one of major trading company in Japan.
I had been trying to learn more about HF activities and money flows as key drivers of the market and the customers were coming to us finally. That was my edge after all.
Data analysis. IMM Open Interest of Currency Future data. Cross boarder M&A flows right after EUR started. The key point was loans data analysis by IFR.

in 1991 debt capital market (euro dollar underwritng). I belonged to blue chip issuers such as govermental agencies and utilities companies.
