■Trade Administrative Work Experience
Through my work experience in the Overseas Sales Support Department, I was able to acquire not only basic clerical skills but also knowledge about trade. When importing and exporting, I advised the local sales side on trade conditions and sometimes played a supporting role for other departments.
Another thing I was able to acquire was language skills. Most of my interactions with local sales people and assistants were in English. Recently, translation apps are very convenient, but studying English has saved me the trouble and enabled me to respond in the shortest possible time. We also handle phone calls from overseas on a daily basis.
■The ability to communicate smoothly with many parties
Since joining the company, I have been working not only with the members of my department but also with the factory, logistics companies, and overseas sales offices on a daily basis.
I have often been caught in the middle between sales and the factory when adjusting delivery dates, and I have sometimes played the role of a buffer so that both sides can communicate with each other as comfortably as possible.
I try to reduce unnecessary communication by keeping track of shipment status and sales demand ahead of time, so that I can always make arrangements on the shortest possible schedule.
In the future, I would like to try my hand at a variety of jobs, not limited to trade-related work, making use of the basic clerical and communication skills I have cultivated up to this point, as well as my English skills.
At my new workplace, I would like to make use of my natural brightness and quickness to learn, and I would like to work to become a competitive force as soon as possible.
