A boy who was deaf and dumb since birth, previously admitted in Asha Army School (meant for handicapped Children) for treatment. In this school, the physiotherapist advised his parents to take the boy to another school for speech therapy. Thereafter, this boy was brought to Army School, Mathura Cantonment and was put under my guidance as a trial. I accepted this challenge and worked for about 15 days. On my assurance the boy was admitted in our school. I found a lot of improvement in this boy. Now he is able to successfully interact in his mother tongue i.e. Hindi and can pick-up lip movements and can respond accordingly.
