Supporting Arab Women at the Table (SAWT) project sponsored by the European Commission and in partnership with the Arab Reform Initiative (ARI).

  • Writing reports, concepts notes and desk review of women's participation in peace building process in Yemen.
  • Design and conduct gender analysis of current humanitarian programs in Yemen to asses key gender issues and inequalities and identify opportunities for greater inclusion and mainstreaming
  • Collaborating with team members to facilitate dialogue workshops/sessions with women leaders and peace activists as part of “Supporting Arab Women at the Table” project.
  • Developing gender mainstreaming action plan which includes targets, indicators, timelines and budget.
  • Submitting high-quality policy brief combining findings of desk review and analysis of dialogues.

  • Conducted a gender analysis of the Conflict and Gender-based Violence project to ensure gender sensitive project-planning, design, implementation , monitoring and post-evaluation.
  • Conducted qualitative research on gender based violence (GBV) among Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
  • Developed conceptual frameworks, designed interview questions, and conducted interviews with international and local organizations from a gender lens.
  • Examined the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to reduce gender bias, improving the quality of the results.
  • Performed qualitative data analysis, developed fact sheets, graphs and tables to analyze and summarize data findings.
  • Submitted a manuscript that will be published in an edited book in 2022.
  • Prepared materials for reports, presentations and reviewed manuscripts submitted for publications at JICA-RI.
