I was brought up in Tokyo and received K-12-to-university education locally. I was always interested in study abroad and actually studied in New Zealand, Hungary and the UK. In addition, I was an Education Attaché at the Japanese Consulate in San Francisco, USA for three years and had opportunities to work with a number of universities in Northern California and Nevada. These experiences led me into international education and I have been involved in it based in Japan for over twenty years travelling to many secondary schools in various countries and regions, representing different universities. I succeeded to establish close relationship with various secondary schools and I am now motivated to apply my experience and knowledge in order to guide students to higher education and future carrier of their wish.

University admissions
undefinedBeing involved in university admissions, I feel it is like "communication art" to find the best possible future path for every single student, which requires knowledge, interpersonal/organisational skills and endevour. I am now ready to work at a secondary school in university guidance and students’ admissions applications with my experience dealing with admissions and recruiting on university side succeeding to welcome promising students from all over the world. I have hands-on internship experience at an international school in Hong Kong where students placements are diverse academically and geographically. I believe I will be able to bring my university-side perspectives, knowledge and experience to support each student. In addition, I am hoping to learn more about TOK as I believe it would help students prepare for university application and higher education especially in essay writing and presentations as it would make it possible to understand various perspectives.
