Lei Zhang

Ph.D. researcher in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Kyoto University, specializing in analytical and natural product chemistry. My work focuses on developing and validating analytical methods (HPLC, LC-MS/MS, NMR) for the structural elucidation of lysine-targeting covalent inhibitors from fungal metabolites. I have experience in stability evaluation under stress conditions, computational chemistry for molecular conformation analysis. My research integrates chemistry and biology to efficiently discover and advance bioactive compounds toward early-stage drug candidates.
