I am the type of person who can identify issues even in unfamiliar domains, gather the necessary information, and develop practical, actionable solutions while making rational decisions.
In my Turkish tea import project, I discovered that the local standard packaging method—folded closure with a simple label seal—was significantly below the quality requirements of the Japanese market, such as airtight sealing strength and clear evidence of unopened condition. To address this gap, I created a detailed packaging specification outlining the necessary requirements and negotiated with the local manufacturer to reach a consensus on improvement measures.
Ultimately, I concluded that the gap between the local production capabilities and Japanese quality standards was too large, and compromising would lead directly to quality risks. Therefore, I decided to halt the project to avoid potential issues. Rather than pushing forward blindly, I chose not to proceed in order to uphold quality.
Through this experience, I developed a practical problem-solving mindset and sound judgment: the ability to move forward when appropriate and to stop when necessary, based on a comprehensive assessment of technical standards, commercial practices, and quality risks.
I began playing baseball in junior high school and continued through high school and university.
During my junior and senior high school years, I played as a pitcher, but I currently serve as a designated hitter (DH), taking a central role in the team’s offensive lineup.
