As a physician trained in both General Internal Medicine and Neurology, I have worked extensively in both hospital-based and home-based care settings. In particular, my work in home medical care has allowed me to integrate a broad, holistic perspective from General Medicine with the specialized knowledge of Neurology, enabling me to provide personalized and attentive care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
For patients with chronic illnesses, I have developed comprehensive care plans not only to stabilize their medical conditions but also to improve their quality of life (QOL) and reduce the caregiving burden on their families. I have actively participated in multidisciplinary team-based care, often serving as a central member of the home care team.
I have also had numerous opportunities to care for entire families, providing medical services across a wide age range and for both men and women—from children to the elderly. I am particularly skilled in not only neurological care, but also in general internal medicine and comprehensive outpatient care. I place great importance on treating the whole person rather than focusing solely on individual organs, and I always strive to incorporate patients’ social and lifestyle contexts into my clinical approach.
Since June 2022, I have been residing in Singapore due to my husband’s job transfer. From 2024, I have been volunteering as a Japanese Docent Guide at the National Museum of Singapore, the Asian Civilisations Museum, and the Peranakan Museum. In addition, I volunteer at Assisi Hospice, offering foot massage therapy at their day care facility. I would be truly delighted to have the opportunity to return to clinical practice at your institution.
