John WIlliam Kamphuis III

I am a direct hire from the Tokyo Board of Education. My responsibilities include teaching every grade, building lesson plans, creating teaching content that is interactive and fun for students, assisting in the training of other English instructors sent from companies and deciding books and plans for upcoming years.

I worked solo to create interactive and specific lesson based on parents and students needs. My students here are very high level and take private lesson to further their learning. I taught a variety of other subjects such as English, science, history and social studies. The lesson curriculum were created by me from the ground up.

Managed teaching and supervision, helped colleagues who came from different cultures and backgrounds. I created training sessions not only for other foreign English teachers, but for Japanese English teachers as well. I kept an in depth log of everyone's progress, concerns and possible negatives to look out for.

Developed strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues by maintaining open lines of communication and fostering a supportive learning environment.

I composed detailed research about opposing candidates from a wide range of background checking, monitored the effectiveness of campaign adds and its impact on polls, composed detailed research on a wide range of political figures and ,as a media member, questioned politicians about difficult topics.

Composed detailed detailed media analysis, managed assistants and interns on their tasks and responsibilities. Expanded research capabilities by staying current on industry advancements and integrating new technologies into workflows. Kept politicians up to date on the very latest new by emailing their teams directly.

I helped to coach and life guard at my local country
club. Here I would go after my morning swim practice
to coach a summer league team and from there start
lifeguarding until my afternoon swim practice. I was placed as pool manager in my last year where I had to advise lifeguard staff and waiting staff of their duties and responsibilities.
