Selling Point

My strength is quickly learning and adapting to new fields, especially under pressure. Last year, I joined a designer exchange program in Japan organized by the China Household Electrical Appliances Research Institute. Due to an oversight, the Chinese team lacked a professional interpreter, causing communication issues. As part of the Japanese side, I was unexpectedly asked to interpret, facing two major challenges: prolonged mental focus and unfamiliar technical terms. Initially struggling with terminology in architecture and industrial design, I adapted by engaging in discussions and learning key concepts in real-time. Within a day, I mastered essential terms and provided accurate translations without scripts. Over two days, I facilitated smooth communication, ensuring both teams shared insights. This experience strengthened my adaptability, broadened my professional perspective, and helped connect research institutions for future collaboration.
