Project Title: Low-code/ No-code Development (Workato, Tray.ai, Salesforce)

Role: Team Leader & Bridge System Engineer

Overview:

• Instead of writing thousands of lines of codes, just use an automation tool like Workato Tray.ai to reduce programming effort. Automate manual processes such as priority task management, sales lead tracking, scheduling office visits, etc.,
• For Salesforce development, I mainly developed Standard features like (User profiles, permission sets, objects, page layouts, flows, metadata, reports, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud), Apex and Lightning components, managing Experience Cloud sites, and integrating with and migrating data from external systems.

• Onshore Collaboration: 2 Japanese Manager + 2 Japanese Leaders
• Onshore Team: 3 Myanmar engineers

Responsibilities:

• Reported project progress at daily regular meetings and and made sure communication with everyone involved was clear and efficient in both sides JP/ MM.
• Conducted requirement elicitation with Japanese team leader. Then, create a requirement definition document in Japanese.
• After receiving requirements, shared and explained work content to Myanmar team.
• Managed project progress, created a WBS to break down the tasks, estimate the time needed, and keep the project on track and running smoothly.
• I was hands-on with the whole workflow – design, building it, putting it into action, testing, reviewing the test documents, and making sure the chosen solutions were implemented.
• If any issues were raised, I figured out what went wrong and wrote down the cause of the defect and described the root cause of the mistake.
• After reviewing and fixing phase, handed over the deliverables to the Japanese team.(Explained the workflow flow if necessary)
• After the project completed, we had a meeting to discuss what went well, what should be improved, and what we should try next time (using the KPT Keep/Problem/Try method) together with JP/ MM team members.

Achievements:

• Reduces manual work hours and eliminates data entry errors caused by human error to nearly zero.
• Contributes to improved work quality and team communication by implementing regular KPT.
• Promotes reporting, contact, and consultation (HoRenSo) among team members, which has led to more active information sharing within the team and contributed to faster problem response.

Project Title: Workato/ Tray.ai Offshore Development

Overview: This project focused on implementing Workato and Tray.ai, key iPaaS (integration-platform-as-a-service) tools, to automate and optimize business workflows for Japanese operations.

Team & Environment:

• Offshore team: 3 Myanmar-based engineers
• Onshore collaboration: Japanese engineering team and client stakeholders
• Communication via MS Team, Zoom, Daily progress meeting

Responsibilities:

• Translated project specifications and delegated tasks to individual team members
• Led requirements elicitation with Japanese team lead
• Designed and deployed integration recipes and automation workflows using Workato & Tray.ai
• Coordinated with platform engineering teams in the U.K. and Japan
• Managed offshore implementation, QA, and knowledge transfer to local teams

Achievements:

• Enabled local teams to configure and maintain solutions independently via training sessions

Project Title: Zoom Online Learning Platform

Overview: A system to develop a platform for online classes that works with Zoom API. The front end was built primarily with React to provide an easy-to-use UI for instructors and students. The backend was built by using Django, Python web framework.

• 2 Team lead + 5 members
• Tech stack: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, React, GitLab.

Responsibilities:

• Design the UI for each phase using agile methodology.
• Write front end program code.
• Conduct Unit test and Integration test

Achievements:

• In Scrum development, projects are divided into phases, and development, review, and improvement are carried out step by step.
• By incorporating feedback at the end of each phase, we have succeeded in improving quality and reducing rework.

Project Title: Fiber Line Management System (Maintenance Phase)

Overview: Improving the system efficiency by fixing the database/GIS map performance issues, adding new features according to customer requests and ongoing support.

Team & Tools:

• 1 PM + 1 Technical Senior + 2 SE
• Tech stack: Java, Spring Framework, HTML 5, CSS, Javascript, Leaflet Map, Window OS, MYSQL, GitLab.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain program code.
• Design and execute unit and integration tests.
• Provide ongoing system maintenance and support.
• Respond to customer inquiries and troubleshoot issues.

Achievements:

• In terms of system efficiency, I improved database performance by using MySQL procedure and function calls to shorten query processing times.
• Our proactive approach to system updates, improvements, and bug fixes directly benefited the maintenance engineers.

Project Title: Workato-Automation and Integration Tool

Overview: We built data integrations and automated workflows between Salesforce, Slack, Google Sheets, Box and other SaaS apps using Workato, a no-code/low-code platform. Furthermore, we developed and introduced custom SDK connectors for internal systems that cannot be handled by standard connectors, and achieved bidirectional synchronization through REST API/Webhook integration.

• Multinational setup: Japanese, Korean, Burmese (about 6 members)

Responsibilities:

• I participated in training with Workato's Singapore team, focusing on research and development.
• My responsibilities included asking leaders to understand customers' needs, conducting the necessary research and development, performing unit and integration testing, explaining the final implementation to the leaders, and providing ongoing maintenance and support.

Achievements:

• In 2019, Workato entered the Japanese market as a new English-based integration platform. So, we collaborated with the Workato engineering team to improve operational efficiency in Japan.
• Furthermore, the team was multinational, comprised of Japanese, Korean, and Burmese members and through strong communication skills, we established trust and effective collaboration.

Project Title: Fiber Line Management System

Overview: Development of a system for planning, designing, managing, and maintaining fiber optic cable networks that connect the communication networks of Myanmar's communication service providers from the bases of the communication carriers (e.g., communication stations) to end users (homes and businesses).
A system includes below features:
1. Network asset management
Centralized management of asset information such as cables, splices, and equipment.
2. GIS mapping
Visually displays the network configuration on a map to support design and planning.
3. Fiber Line and connection management
Visualize and trace the connection relationships and signal paths of each facility.

*OSP: (optical fiber cables, manholes, handholes, utility poles, closures, splice boxes, outdoor cabinets, racks, etc.)

Achievements:

• We continuously gather customer feedback and iteratively improve the system post-implementation. The system's source code is also designed for easy modification and future updates.
