Himnish Mannan

I am working as a Group Leader at ISA Japan. I work with students in multiple age groups such as elementary, middle, junior high, and high school on topics related to identity, culture, biases, community, and sustainable development, whilst also fostering an open and encouraging environment of communicating in English.

As a Group Leader, I:

• Facilitate discussions on topics related to the curriculum of ISA, which spans from topics to do with community, honne & tatemae, to self-identity.
• Play mini-games with students to encourage team building, and active learning.

I am working as a Global Student Leader in the Kansai region at LbE Japan. I have completed three programs in the Kansai region as a Global Leader, and one program in Kanto, working with different Junior High School students on topics related to culture, identity, and sustainability.

As a Global Student Leader, I:

• Facilitate discussions on topics to do with culture, identity, and sustainability.
• Encourage students to actively use English in communication.
• Play games that foster team building, and encourage the use of English.
