Gregory Allen

Teacher/Business Owner
Hatsukaichi

Summary

To sum it up, I have been an overachiever my entire life. I graduated 3rd in my High School class. I graduated first from MOS 7051 Crash Fire Rescue School in Millington, TN. I began teaching fresh out of the Corps here in Japan. I worked for N.E.S., eventually ascending to the manager, and I still maintain a good relationship with the owner and teach for the company. I have run my teaching business for over 35 years, averaging 14-hour work days over the past 20 years. I own my own house paying off a 35-year loan in 20 years. My current schedule sees me working at an international preschool from 8-4, where I am part of the I.B. pedagogical team. We organize events monthly for over 100 students. After that, I drive to, on average, four classes a day, finishing at 9:30 PM every night. Then I hit the local gym, where I swim, run and do weight training to stay in shape for all of MCCS's triathlons, where I most recently participated in March. Long story short, I am the right person for Semper Fit.

Volunteering

For seven years, I did a radio show for FM Hatsukaichi. I was totally in charge of content, including music and talking points. The only thing I was required to do was to do the ad for the sponsor of the show, Delica Wing.
