Patrol Supervisor: Supervised an entire watchstanding section across 5 geographically separated bases in order to maintain installation physical security elements, conduct law enforcement procedures, and maintain antiterrorism detection and deterrence.


Harbor Security Coxswain: Managed, maintained, and operated a high speed , armored security boat in accordance with the Status of Forces Agreement with Japan. Escorted and protected high value Navy assets from NATO countries and the US Seventh Fleet. Conducted harbor security roves and interdicted vessels attempting to gain un-authorized installation access. Supported the Japanese Coast Guard and the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force in maintaining the ecosystem of Okinawa's waterways.


Duty Armorer: Was responsible for inventorying, issuing and performing maintenance of all weapons at the command. This included approximately 12,000 rounds of ammunition and over 400 weapons valued at approximately $750,000.



Special Warfare Combatant Craft Crewman- Candidate

-Performed long distance ocean swims as well as water proficiency skills such as underwater knot tying, "drown-proofing" training, and buddy rescues.


-Learned maritime navigation and nautical chart reading in order to plan and conduct effective small boat operations.


-Operated as a JTAC with a SEAL platoon in a training exercise. Planned, requested, and briefed the command element as to what air assets would be involved during operations. Provided on the ground coordination of operational air assets including aerial reconnaissance, call for fires, and MEDEVACs.
