I am a second-year student at Hoseigakuen University, and my major is Economics. At university, I am actively working on improving my English and participating in volunteer activities.
The main activity I've been involved in at university is volunteering. One event that stands out is the exchange event between elementary school children and international students. Through this, I learned the importance of understanding others by interacting with people from different cultures and backgrounds. Seeing the children enjoy interacting with the international students gave me a strong sense of fulfillment as a volunteer.
I am currently participating in a program called "Overseas Affairs" and I am scheduled to travel to Sydney for three weeks starting in mid-February. GSP stands for "Global Skills Project." In this project, we are working on tasks such as reaching out to overseas business professionals from scratch and conducting interviews in English, as well as planning roundtable events to interact with business people active in Sydney. This program allows us to learn the skills needed in society while improving our English.
