Through five years of architectural studies at Damascus University, I pursued my dream of earning the MEXT Scholarship, funded by the Japanese government, to complete my master’s degree at one of Japan’s top universities (Kyoto University). Along the way, I gained invaluable experience working with multiple Japanese firms, including Kengo Kuma & Associates, both as an intern and a full-time employee. I consider myself fortunate to have had these opportunities. However, my aspirations continue to grow, and my thirst for knowledge and exploration deepens. My ultimate goal is to contribute to creating high-quality built environments for both my people and the welcoming communities I have had the privilege of being surrounded by.
