  • As the United States Forces Korea (USFK) Theater Spectrum Manager, my responsibilities are managing all Permanent/Temporary frequency equipment supportability demands and frequency support for all high visibility request from all service components in a joint environment.

  • As the United States Forces Japan Chief Spectrum Manager, my responsibilities entailed developing, directing and supervising the overall operation of the Japan Frequency Management Office (JFMO).
  • Evaluate and coordinate equipment supportability applicants (DD-1494) with the Government of Japan (GoJ) for all systems which require use of the electromagnetic spectrum in Japan.
  • Managed electro-magnetic equipment requiring statistical information in support of F35 deployment to Japan.
  • Utilized frequency allocations, telecommunication equipment for authorization in streamlining C5ISR requirements in producing and standardizing necessities in support of U.S. service components Counter-UAS program.
  • Operated Spectrum XXI, and HNSWDO programs by using applications for foreign spectrum support to command access for spectrum allocation information, and system topologies.
  • Performed aptitude dimensions, which added to the accomplishments in achieving lifecycle changes within the spectrum arena, mostly concentrating on specified stages premeditated for multifaceted military organizational unification.
  • Technical liaison committee chairman to the US Joint Frequency Coordination Committee, my duties consisted of managing over 10,000 discrete assignments under the exclusive control of the US government in Japan, and addressing interoperability concerns throughout the region.

  • Briefed CG level commanders monthly during the Spectrum VTC, Japanese Self Defense forces monthly discussion, Senior Communicators Symposiums (SCS), and Interoperability Management Boards (IMB) throughout the INDO-PACOM Area of Responsibility.
  • Provided technical expertise and evaluate equipment certification packages for the MILDEPS.
  • Verify completeness of Applications for Foreign Spectrum Support (DD-1494) via Host Nation Spectrum Worldwide Database Online (HNSWDO).
  • Ensured compliance with international agreements, GOJ radio laws and policies, DOD instructions, USINDOPACOMINST and USFJ policies and directives.
