Procurement Specialist (Component: E-Glass Fiber)

• Manage delivery schedule to ensure 98% on time delivery for direct component and provide precise delivery commitments for production scheduling.
• Proactively identify alternative materials and lead the Material Qualification Procedure; coordinate with PE and R&D weekly for technical validation to ensure BOM resilience.
• Monitor upstream and downstream market trends to proactively mitigate supply chain bottlenecks and ensure supplier capacity aligns with internal production requirements.
• Collaborate with Material Control (MC) to set safety stock levels and 30 days turnover goal;
• Execute supplier segmentation strategies based on Quality, Delivery, and Flexibility to optimize order allocation and ensure long-term supply stability.

• Cost Optimization: Break down end-product BOMs to identify cost-saving opportunities and diversified the supplier base for machined parts, achieving a 5% reduction in annual procurement costs.
• NPI Strategic Support: Provide suggestions of supplier capacity, cost , and lead times to the NPI BOMs; recommend optimal components to ensure both technical feasibility and supply chain stability.
• Capital Expenditure : Led negotiations and procurement for high-value assets, including Disco (production), Intekplus (inspection), and automation equipment. Orchestrated end-to-end logistics from delivery tracking to onsite installation.
• ESG & Green Procurement: Pioneered circular economy initiatives by introducing reusable packaging systems and sourcing recycled tray vendors, successfully achieving annual corporate green procurement targets.
• System Proficiency: Utilized SAP for comprehensive material management and cost analysis reporting.
