Principal Engineer

  • Represented KeRRA in the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)-led Project for Strengthening of Capacity Development on Bridge Management System in Kenya, contributing to baseline data collection, drafting of bridge inspection and repair manuals and stakeholder engagement workshops.
  • Participated in drafting KeRRA’s road asset management policies that are currently in use
  • Resident Engineer overseeing 3 major road upgrading and performance-based maintenance projects (~Kshs. 3.52B / USD $31M).
  • Member of KeRRA’s Road Safety Committee: co-authored Road Safety Policy, led awareness campaigns during UN Road Safety Week 2021. Conducted safety audits and promoted safety-compliant designs in road projects
  • Oversaw procurement for 30+ road maintenance projects, chaired tender opening/evaluation committees.
  • Led technical audits across 6 KeRRA regional maintenance offices and 4 major road maintenance contracts, delivering recommendations to improve compliance and performance.
