• Design and Construction: Reviewing designs for new data centers, providing input, reviewing submittals, and ensuring designs meet AWS standards.
• On-site Support: Acting as a resident engineer during construction projects, overseeing construction, commissioning, and handover processes.

Maintaining and operating the critical infrastructure within AWS data centers to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of services to customers

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations and Maintenance: Ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems.
• Incident Response: Acting as a first responder to incidents within the data center and troubleshooting issues with equipment.
• Preventative Maintenance: Performing planned preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Vendor Management: Managing and supervising vendors and contractors involved in data center maintenance and operations.
• Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with data center operations.
• Reporting: Generating reports on various aspects of data center infrastructure operations and maintenance.
• Change Management: Managing change requests and incident management tickets related to DCEO activities.
• Collaboration: Working with other teams, such as architecture, development, and testing teams, to address system problems and define requirements.

- Published **9 vendor-specific SOPs** (Eaton UPS, Caterpillar gensets) across Japan cluster.

- Took 30 MW NRT site from “power-on” to 100 % customer capacity.
- Drove ¥28,745,064 annual OPEX reduction. Earned APJC Super Saver Award 2023.
- Mentored five technicians (L3→L4); recorded 0 change-related incidents across 400 MOP executions.

Designing, implementing, and overseeing the electrical systems and equipment used in power generation facilities.

• Design and Development: Creating detailed electrical designs, schematics, and technical specifications for power plant systems.
• Installation and Maintenance: Overseeing the installation of electrical equipment, conducting testing and commissioning, and developing maintenance procedures for reliable operation.
