• Lead project sourcing project and initiatives for the segments.
• To avoid an exchange impact rate of more than 45 MJPY, switch the payment currency from JPY to USD for a local supplier.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms, quality standards, and cost savings.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of procurement activities.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify potential risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to maintain high-quality standards and adherence to regulatory requirements in Japan and overseas.
• My supplier panel list has been reduced with an Asian localization strategy contributing with foot print company goal and reducing internal operations. 3 supplier reduced.

Responsible for Resins, Chemicals, Rubber parts, Foams, Wire harnesses & Electro-Mechanics parts for 2 Valeo sites (Itako & Akita plant).

• As part of my strategic sourcing, I take part in double sourcing for resins plan with a focus on POM M90, making sure that the allocation is made to my Valeo sites to prevent any line stops, and contributing with a 15 MJPY annual savings.
• Build trusting relationships with PTMs (project team members) in order to accomplish shared objectives (quality, cost, and schedule).
• Provide productivity ideas that support the acquisition of the business by utilizing strategies such as technical productivity, resourcing, and bundle negotiations.
• MC Wire-harnesses: resourcing of 2 risky suppliers, transferring the whole production to a new supplier without financial issues.
• Extending the period of payment to closely 20 suppliers from 60 to 90 days.

Responsible Project buyer of global projects from NPA until SOP.

• Member of sourcing team responsible for NA, Thailand, Japan and Europe CDA projects. 6 projects completed.
• All projects below 100 PPI (Project Purchase Index).
• Multi-commodity buyer (electronic parts, plastic parts, non ferrous, etc).
• MLCC and resin strategy to avoid shortage risk. 2021 (price-up/allocation)
• Successfully negotiated contracts to achieve cost savings as LTA, PPI, etc. while maintaining high standards of product quality.
• Managed supplier relationships and conducted regular performance reviews to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with contractual agreements.

Member of Project team responsible for NA projects, focusing in Nissan & Mitsubishi.

• TCM project for Nissan with a BOM over 85 parts.
• Localization plan for resins, outsource plastics parts and fasteners where originally were produce in Japan or Thailand wit saving over 250 KUSD.
• PPI below 100% in 2 projects.
• Negotiation of payment terms.

Member of Operation`s team in Toluca Plant.

Production Management:

• Oversee and coordinate daily activities within the plant or distribution center to ensure efficient production and adherence to quality standards.

Inventory Management:

• Control inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
